E3 Wrap-Up
Video Game Report

altOkay! E3 2010 was a blast this year and many games were shown off. Every company had their big hitters and the blows were what Rampage and Evans fight should've been. Click read more to see videos and get the highlights of the game titles showcased from E3's press conference.

Microsoft/Xbox 360

 alt
Microsoft came to E3 with their big gloves on. Their presentation was very memorable, with an enticing and entertaining demo show.

Kinect (formerly Project Natal)- some of the titles are listed below. 15 titles will be released with the Xbox's Kinect on November 4, 2010. A true price has yet to be announced, however Gamestop has Kinect listed at $149.99.

Kinectimals-The cutest demo I've ever seen. Definitely a game to keep nieces and nephews preoccupied. Think Nitendog turned Nitencat. Watch the video presentation by clicking here

Kinect Adventure- Be prepared for interactive mini-games that you and your friends will love.

Kinect Sports- Very Wii Sports like but with no controllers at all.

Dance Central- Their answer to Just Dance, seems to bring more dance moves to the table.

Star Wars Video Game (future title)- If done properly this game could be a highlight for the peripheral. Microsoft better hope Wii doesn't get the jump on them and make a Wii Motion Plus version of a good Star Wars game before their title comes out sometime in 2011.

Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Future Soldier- One of my highlights of E3 and it looks pretty awesome to say the least. Active camo has never been done so well. It seems that Ubisoft will be putting the delaying spin on this one much like they did with Splinter Cell Conviction. Expect it sometime in 2011.

Medal of Honor- disappointed looks like a blended Battlefield Bad Company 2 and Call of Duty Modern Warefare 2.

Metal Gear Solid: Rising- Watch the video by clicking here.

Gears of War 3

Fable 3

Call of Duty: Black Ops

The Witcher 2

Star Wars: Force Unleashed 2 Watch the video by clicking here

Star Wars: The Old Republic (MMO)-awesome new trailer. SWTOR will be releasing Spring 2011. Watch the video by clicking here

Spiderman Shattered Dimensions

Hunted: The Demon's Forge

Sims 3

Assassin's Creed Brotherhood

Nintendo/Wii

altFinally taking the hint from the hardcore fans and bringing back many of the classics that the older gamers remember. Good presentation ending with the announcement of the Nintendo 3DS.

Nintendo 3DS- new 3D handheld that can be played without the weird 3D glasses.

Zelda: Skyward Sword- The magic of Zelda is back and looks good and also promising. The demonstration had a couple of floppy when it came to the bow and the flying beetle item, but the game amplifies the experience from the Twilight Princess. This title will be more fighting focused with the sword and shield.

Golden Eye 007- (Wii Exclusive)

Metroid: Other M- releases August 31, 2010

Donkey Kong Country Returns

Epic Mickey

Kirby's Epic Yarn

NBA Jam- Reliving a classic.

Just Dance 2

Wii Party

Mario Sports Mix

Kid Icarus Rising

Sony/Playstation 3

altSony brought a standard presentation in my opinion, not overly entertaining yet not boring in the least. Their focus seemed to spiral around 3D gaming experiences. Many of their big name exclusive titles are looking to support 3D visuals and in some cases the Playstation Move functionality as well.

alt Playstation Move- Releases on September 19, 2010, sooner than I expected. Playstation's answer to the Wii's motion controller, The Move controller, will be available for $49.99, and the Navigation controller will retail for $29.99. If you don't already have a PlayStation Eye, a bundle will be offered that includes one Move controller, an Eye, and a copy of Sports Champion. The bundle will retail for $99.99. A console bundle will also be available for $399.99. This will include a 250GB PS3 Slim, Sports Champion, a Move controller, and a PlayStation Eye.

Killzone 3

Dead Space 2

Mortal Kombat- The story will span Mortal Kombat 1, 2, and 3. This new MK will be more story driven and include many of the fan favorites from the first 3 MK games all well as some unannounced newcomers. Here' s looking to much blood and mind-blowing fatalities.

Twisted Metal- Finally we all will be going back to that wild and frantic car game where you didn't race but just blew everybody up. Sweet Tooth is still on fire!

Little Big Planet 2- The first was awesome, the second...SMILE!

Portal 2

Mafia 2

Dead Rising 2

F.E.A.R 3

True Crime

Infamous 2

Gran Turismo 5

Socom 4

EyePet- will be in 3D and will also use the Playstation Move. This will be a fun game for the kiddies.

Wrap It Up!!!!

At the end of the day I must admit that E3 2010 was awesome. I saw games I was really interested in and also some I didn't even care to hear about. The future of gaming is ever rising and the upcoming games show the push for the future. 2010 and 2011 will hold a huge game lineup and any gamers whether hardcore or casual will find a large library to pull from.
