It’s May 2010. That means it’s the 2010 Fall Upfront season! For those that still watch traditional broadcast television, this is the time of year when the networks put on their best face and present their finest offerings and updates to advertisers, critics, and reporters. Of course the media will always have coverage on all the juggernaut shows, but what about the underdog shows? Shows that have a strong following, but for some reason, the ratings do not translate into “super show” status.
Well, that pretty much sums up The CW Network. This network that was supposed to be the best from UPN and The WB Network has turned into a haven for the spoiled rotten, vampire obsessed, male-celebrity-stalking little girls and young women. Despite their overly female-driven demographic, this network still has two gems, Smallville and Supernatural, and a possible decent newcomer, Nikita.
In Lost Planet 2, Capcom's slogan "Kill Big" speaks volumes. The bosses in this game are enormous and their big shiny spots make for fine targets. With such a huge arsenal of weaponry and the included VS (Vital Suits) you'll be reeking destruction all throughout the planet E.D.N III.
The once frozen planet of E.D.N. III has grown an ecosystem and the planet has become more livelier than before. The six continents on E.D.N. III is now housing a civil war between the divided snow pirates over T-ENG (Thermal Energy) all the while battling against many vast new forms of akrid. The campaign mode spans over six episodes where you can team up with 4 players via co-op to combat the colossal akrid, hordes of soldiers, and mechanical vital suits.
If I told you that in his first year your head coach would win just 13 games but by year 6 he would win 50+ and take your team to the playoffs 3 years in a row, what would you say? You’d be happy with that right?
If you are a sports fan, I know you have already heard about the recent photographic disaster regarding Mr. LA Laker, Kobe Bryant. Its one thing to take risks, but you should weigh all of your consequences first.
Our friends over on the FlyboyForever.com Forum took the time to compile a few images to put this situation into prospective. I guess the phrase “a picture says a thousand words” may be true after all.
We can’t wait to read your words so leave us a comment.
BREAKING NEWS: According to The Hollywood Reporter and other media sources, NBC has canceled the once all-mighty and powerful, Heroes!
Looks like our favorite immortal cheerleader and psycho watch maker have finally been laid to rest. Now the question remains: If you kill the cheerleader, will that save NBC? (Probably not...)
UPDATE: NBC will offer a 2-hour TV movie to serve as the series finale.
Do you think this was premature or long overdue? Feel free to comment.
