Michael Jackson Video Game has arrived! Why? |
|
While watching E3 today, Ubisoft announced that they are creating a Michael Jackson video game.
Although I am a fan of the legendary MJ, I think it's sad how companies will continue to make money of this man's legacy when during his life they barely gave him any respect was giving to him. The interactive performance-based game will be on Xbox 360® using Microsoft® KinectTM (formerly Project Natal); PlayStation®3's PlayStation®Move (which is PlayStation®3's answer to the Nintendo WiiTM) & PSP® (PlayStation®Portable) system; and on Nintendo®'s WiiTM and DSTM for the 2010 holiday season.
I think it should be a good game, nonetheless. I wouldn't mind playing it, though. (Yeah, yeah, yeah I know...)

Mortal Kombat Reimagined? Finish Him! |
|
Okay we came across this video on the internet and clearly it promotes Mortal Kombat in some form or fashion. It isn't clear as of yet if this is a showcase for the up and coming Mortal Kombat video game which could possibly be announced at E3 later next week or if this is a movie promo to get a blockbuster budget from Warner Brothers. Clearly with the "R"-rated visuals this could very well be the best thing titled Mortal Kombat. Click read more and view the video.

I’ve Just Been Violated By The MTV Movie Awards! |
|
I don’t watch television as much as I used to. I usually end up watching my favorite programs online when it’s convenient for me. So when I finally decided to pick up my remote control, I expected to find something entertaining to watch. As I flipped through the on-screen guide, guess what I saw? Yes, the 2010 MTV Movie Awards! I forgot that the award show was coming on, so naturally I turned to it. I haven’t seen a two-hour piece of crap since The Love Guru!
Don’t worry. I’m not going to give you a play-by-play of what happened last night. MTV will play this award show on repeat 234,200 times by next week, so you'll have plenty of opportunity to watch it for yourself.
However, I will share a few of my gripes.

The Revolution Has Begun! |
|
That's Right! The "Music Revolution" has begun. Streetlight Manifesto, a third wave ska band, has started a movement that will change music forever. They have started an 8 album project entitled 99 Songs of Revolution. These albums will consist of 4 bands making 2 albums each. Each band will choose songs that have changed them or made them who they are musically and cover those songs. Thomas Kalnoky, genius behind this project and lead singer of the Streetlight, started this movement with some of his favorite songs from artists like Raidiohead, Squirrel Nut Zippers, and The Postal Service. He also covered a song from his other band, Bandits of the Acoustic Revolution (because he is that bad ass). This is probably the best album on the market today. The songs on the album are as follows:
